Corridor to Enlightenment

The path of enlightment is not of
conquering others, but Oneself.

The path of illusion envisions
reality to glories leading
to eventual desolation.

Resisting the path of
pride and deceit.

The knowledge within
captivates even the unbeliever.

Nurture thyself with inaction and
savor the harmony that is One another.

The Journey Home is imminent; To revel in the
Absolute of the One.

Loud Doesn't Mean Right !

Loud  doesn't mean right! I don't trust media because of journalist like  O'Reilly. Although he provides good entertainment, better than Comedy  Central. On the other hand Comedy Central reports quite accurately!

Lent

Ash Wednesday
Fasting has began
A sacrifice to the man
who gave blood-life
and became God
They say he was the son,
but I know him in another way
Folks go to a place called church, where they think he resides
Fools don't know that he resides everywhere they go
I read the book about him frequently, and it is good
It is not as complex as any of the four Veds or many of the Purans
Yet the evil-minded twist the truth, while thumping his words
Televising illusions asking for donations
They feast on sin before they fast
They act like beast  and
celebrate Mardi Gras
But today is calm, and I too
shall sacrifice and fast
In the name of the ultimate
Truth I shall follow Christ
Christ didn't die for you
to earn beads by showing teat
He instead traded himself for a sheep
What a price to pay just to lead
So today you can follow him
and today you can fast
The hunger, that "snake" lies
beneath the fourth wheel
If you learn to control the "snake"
by clenching its neck
You will be one step closer
to knowing your inner-self
After the fasting you might meet the inner-self
Who can teach you the "Laws of Karma",
prepare you for the last journey, and
make reservations at the hotel with pearl gates

Singing the Praises of Freedom in light of Bondage!

The world views the United States of America as a beacon of democracy, freedom, and ultimately, the place to be. Children in foreign lands grow up wanting to be part of this America. In their lands of poverty and lack of opportunity, people have the desire to be part of this America. In this America, people want to bring forth a future. This is the land that fought its enemy as one. This is the land that created a Constitution that is to this day, claimed to being adhered to.

Americans should be proud. Americans are proud. Americans should be realizing the value their nation holds in foreign lands. However, there are many Americans who do not believe that they are any longer a proud nation. Their America has become a land of hypocrites, who claim to be freedom providers, but practice everything that begets freedom. The United States of America is the largest consumer of the world's resources. Who is the United States of America? They are Americans. Americans, all Americans consume 80% (approximately) of Mother Earth everyday. Why then do we wonder that we have an immigration problem? We are inviting global problems, from over population to genocide. We Americans have a hand in every action and reaction in the global society today. We have provided nations with ammunition to fight one another and then we have called these same nations "rogue states". Where do we draw the line? Is there a line left to be drawn? Questions, so many questions.

Within the United States of America, there already exists so many differences. How can we expect the world to listen to anything we say or do, if we as Americans cannot tolerate our own selfs? Americans need to realize that every person in the United States of America is an American. Every American has been an immigrant at onetime or another, except the real owners of this land, The Native Americans. We no longer hear their voice. Have we crushed the voices of wisdom only to claim superiority in the world? Sometimes it is quite alright to be wrong about something, but to be continually wrong, now that's sad story. Let us realize our selfish actions, so that the future we keep bragging about will truly be there for our future, Our Children!
